•What is Wear Mac’s?•
Wear Mac’s is a lot of things! It’s a lifestyle brand, a mission, a way of giving back… it’s the place where you got a shirt you love while also doing good.
•Where is Wear Mac’s?•
Wear Mac’s is based out of Nixa, Missouri, but is also in your community. A portion of every purchase goes to a charity right back in your community every month.
•Why Wear Mac’s?•
The best and most important question of all. Wear Mac’s was conceptualized after taking in a foster dofrom a local rescue organization by the name of Macaroni (we’re real creative with names, clearly) in 2019.
Macaroni was rescued from a puppy mill in rural Missouri that was on the Human Society’s annual “Horrible Hundred” report. The “Horrible Hundred” report is a list of known, problematic puppy breeding and/or puppy brokering facilities. Unfortunately, Missouri regularly tops the list of this report leading to a problematic volume of dogs in need of forever homes.
Wear Mac’s will partner with local rescue and volunteer organizations by donating 10% of profits from all sales back into the communities from which a purchase was made on a monthly basis.
Additional contributions of time and materials will also be made when possible. Mac’s also has ambitions on fighting for legislation to enact change to better regulate, and hopefully end, puppy mills. We take the philosophy of “Adopt don’t shop” to heart.
The picture here is Macaroni after being with us for a couple of weeks back in 2019. He was initially adopted by a family and then ultimately given back about a week later. After getting him back we got him placed on a loving forever home. Macaroni, Mac, Mackie Mackie… the dog of many names! He currently lives at his forever home north of Springfield, Missouri with a loving family, where he thrives to this day.
